GETTING TO NISSIROS ISLAND

Even though it's a small island and a bit distant from Athens and the mainland, Nissiros can be reached quite easily nonetheless!

THERE IS NO AIR SERVICE TO Nissyros. You may however fly to the island of KOS or RHODOS and from there catch a Ferry boat or Hydrofoil to Nissyros island

BY BOAT

There are two weekly scheduled departures from Piraeus to Nissiros year-round. Travel time from Piraeus is approximately 16 hours.
In the summer there are tourist boats on a daily basis that go to Nisiros via Kos and Kardamena (Kos). From Rhodes there are flying dolphins (speed ferries only for passengers-no vehicles), cata-marans and boats. For exact ferry timetables CLICK HERE
